Liaoning Shinagawa Hefeng Metallurgical Material Co., Ltd. is a Sino-foreign joint venture specialized in R&D, design and production of mold powders for steel casting.

Established in April 2008, the company was jointly funded by two leading refractory suppliers: Shinagawa Refractories Co., Ltd. and Anshan Hefeng Refractory Co., Ltd.

The capital investment is RMB 57.6 million and the registered share capital is RMB 28.8 million. The company is located in Anshan, Liaoning, and covers an area of 30,000 square meters.

The company commenced production in November 2008, and its annual production capacity has reached 20,000 tons.
